August 2018 Activities at Kumar Shala-1

Various events of the month of August were observed and celebrated at Saraswati Kumar Shala-1. Among these were the death anniversary of Kavivar Ravindra Nath Tagore, the birthday of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, Kavi Narmad Jayanti and birthdays of Kavi Shri Zaverchand Meghani and Dr. Raghubhai Nayak.

Students were encouraged to study and speak about the life and achievements of the celebrities. Poems and songs by the poets were presented by the students through reading, singing and even through play-acting. Notable among these was the poem “Charan Kanya” by Meghani dramatized by the students.
