Student Rally Celebrates 75 Years of Vidyamandal and Birth Centenary of Shri Jashiben

Students of the schools run by Saraswati Vidyamandal celebrated 75 years (Amrit Parv) of the institution and the birth centenary of Shri Jasjiben Nayak by organizing a rally on the morning of December 15, 2018. The rally was flagged off by Shri Jashiben amidst cries of “Hail Saraswati”. Three tableaus of Balvihar had children dressed up with themes of “Save Lion, the King of Jungle” and “Respect for All Religions”. Students of Kumarshala-1 presented tableaus depicting various activities of the school. Tableaus of Kumarshala-2 presented school children with musical instruments and science themes. Tableaus of J. N. Balika Vidyalay and Sheth A. H. Saraswati Vidyalay emphasized physical education with live Lezim performance and NCC Band. In all, nearly 2,400 students participated in the rally along with the Vidyamandal Secretary Shri Jyotindrabhai Dave, Joint-secretary Shri Sajubha Zala, Executive Council member Shri Iraben Ghose, and Saraswati Nagarik Samaj representatives Shri Manish Patel, Mukeshbhai Vaidya, and Shri Ashokbhai Sompura. Residents of Saraspur area enthusiastically cheered the students and welcomed the rally.
Over last 75 years, Saraswati Vidyamandal, acting as an umbrella organization and a beacon of knowledge has prepared 80,000 citizens of India using value-based education as a vehicle for character development, all round development of children through co-curricular activities and training them in the democratic process through the mechanism and structure of student-assembly.
