Outgoing Vikram Samvat 2076 has been a difficult year for the whole world. The pandemic has already claimed more than 1,25,000 lives in India alone. Businesses are badly affected and we are all facing financial hardships. Education and development of the children are in peril as they are unable to attend the schools.

Difficulties teach us. They, force us to be innovative. In order to help the students with their education in these difficult times, our institution has embarked on a previously uncharted course of distance education through video lectures. Taking up the challenge, the principals, teachers and other experts of our organization were able to cover the curriculum for the first term of the current academic year for all standards through almost one thousand video lectures. We were also able to conduct two academic tests during the term. We will continue education through video lectures in the coming term if needed. I congratulate everyone involved in this novel effort.

With the news of a successful trial of the COVID-19 vaccine, Vikram Samvat 2077 brings a ray of hope. Principals and teachers of Balvihar and Kumarshala welcome the year through a nice video. I dedicate this video to the students of our schools and children of Balvihar.

May this festival of light bring joy to the parents, principals, teachers, and every member and well-wisher of Sarswati Vidyamandal family. May the New Year bring Health and Happiness to them and their families
